The Commonwealth of Virginia,
To the Sheriff of Greenbrier County Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to take John McMartin & Sarah Ann his wife Executor and Executrix of Joseph S. Crane deceased.
If they be found within your bailiwick, and them safely keep, so that you have their bodies before the Judge of the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery, for the said County, at the Clerk's Office of our said Court, at rules to be held for said Court on the first Monday in March next to answer
Edward E. Crane of a plea of Trespass on
the case. Damages Five hundred dollars.
and have them there this writ. Witness John A. North, Clerk of our said Court at the Court House the 28th day of February 1842 in the 66th year of the Commonwealth.
