    Text City and County of New York Surrogate's OfficeWhereas Sarah Scudder and Asa Scudder, administrators with the will annexed, of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits which were of William Scudder late of the city of New York, deceased, have by their petition presented to Silvanus Miller, surrogate of the city and county of New-York, set forth that he the said William Scudder was at the time of his death seized of a real estate within the state of New-York, that the petitioners have made a just and true account of the personal estate of the said deceased as far forth as they have been able to discover the saem, and thereby it appears that the personal estate of the said deceased is insufficient to pay his debts and therefore requested the aid of the said surrogate in the premises, according to an act of the Legislature of the sate of New-York, entitled "An act relative to the court of probates, the office of surrogate, and the granting of administrations, passed March 27, 1801" - And the said petitioners having delivered to the said surrogate the account in the said petition mentioned - Wherefore, it is ordered by the said surrogate, that all persons interested in the estate of the said William Scudder, deceased, do appear before the said surrogate at his office on Saturday the twenty-ninth day of June, next ensuing, to shew cause, if any they have, why so much of the real estate whereof the said William Scudder died seized, should not be sold as would be sufficient to pay his debts.
