CASTLE HAYNE, N.C. - Ray Neff, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at his home following a short illness.
Born Sept. 18, 1930, in Greenbrier County, he was the son of the late Erskin M. and Ida P. Vandal Neff.
Mr. Neff worked as an assembler at Ford Motor Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane
Lorena Crane Neff, in May; a sister, Eva Kashola; and two brothers, Robert E. and Basil M. Neff.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Neff of Wilmington, N.C.; two sons, Steve Neff of Leland, N.C., and Robert Neff of Westland, Mich.; three sisters, Alma Tobey of Detroit, Mich., Louella Brackenridge of Leslie and Mary Lucille Williams of Sutton; a brother, Roy Gene Neff of Buckhannon; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle.
Entombment will follow in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
