- Obituary -- Lovall Oren Williams
Lovell Oren Williams passed away Thursday, May 14th, 2020 at his home in, Meadow Bridge due to a sudden illness. He was born on April 20th, 1952 in Nicholas County; he was the son of the late Everette and Pauline Vandall Williams. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Williams and one sister, Teresa Brown.
Lovell was a lumber inspector at many saw mills until he retired in 2014. He was the pastor to several churches in the community and the pastor at Big Creek Baptist Church for 16 years. He also served in the US Navy for 3 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Virginia Martin Williams and their two sons – Jerry (Jeri) Williams and Jason (Sheena) Williams – two brothers Kenneth Dale (Judy) Williams and Leslie Williams – 5 grandchildren Alicia Williams, Jon Jones, Joshua Jones, Joshua StClair and Jordan StClair – 5 great grandchildren – Owen Conley, Riley Jones, Madi and Ella StClair and Freya StClair, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church of Meadow Bridge on Monday, May the 18th 2020. Friends may call from the hours of 12:00 – 1:00 PM with the Funeral starting at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Wickline Cemetery in Meadow Bridge. Joe Rozell will be officiating the service.
