- Obituary -- Herbert Danny Hickman
Herbert Hickman, age 83 of McDaniel, MD, died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Shore Medical Center in Easton.
Born February 18, 1935 in Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Cecil and Leona Hill Hickman.
He was the husband of Jearlene Hickman of McDaniel, his wife of 60 years.
Herb served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son Danny Hickman of New Hampshire, daughters Sherri Hickman of McDaniel, MD, and Julie Scheele and her husband Kurt of Woodbine, MD, brothers Michael Hickman and Fred Hickman, sister Priscilla Diaz, grandchildren Beau Martz and Jenealle Lynch, and great grandchildren Hayden, Oliver, and Parker Martz, and Makenzi Roth.
He was predeceased by his daughter Darlene Lynch, and by his siblings, Ronnie Hickman, Yvonne Marchini, and Phyllis Siedman.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
