- Obituary -- Elizabeth Sheets Morrison
UPPER MARLBORO, MD. -- Mrs. Elizabeth Sheets Morrison, 77, formerly of Hillsboro, died Friday, May 4. at a Chevely, Md. hospital following a short illness.
Born Oct. 17, 1912, at Hillsboro, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lucy Ernestine Hull Sheets. Mrs. Morrison was a retired school teacher, a member of the Maryland State Teachers Association, the Prince George's County Retired Teachers Association, and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Keith Morrison, a daughter, Carolyn Lee Morrison , and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Sam Morrison of Ohio; a sister, Alice Gibson of Marlinton, and five grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the VanReenan Funeral Home in Marlinton with the Revs. Ted Sprigg and Richard Newkirk officiating. Burial will be at the End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville.
