The sixth of ten children born to James J and Martha (Watkins) Standifer of Baltimore Co MD, late of Franklin Co VA.
Alianna married Thomas Hill abt 1765 in Rocky Mount, Franklin Co VA. They had ten children, two sons and eight daughters.

"The wife of Thomas Hill was Aliana Standifer, a family name that disappeared from the county in the early 1800's."

Her father moved the family to Virginia some time before 1756. While in Henry Co VA, he had aided the troops during the Revolutionary War. Some time after the war, he moved again to Rocky Mount in Franklin Co VA.
