- Obituary -- Thomas Miller Myers
Thomas M. Myers died suddenly at his residence in Jersey City, New Jersey, on February 8, 1917, at the age of 33 years. He was the son of J. Norris Myers, formerly of Carlisle, well known to many of our readers, to whom sincere symapthy is extended.
The deceased graduated at the Dickenson Preparatory School in the old South College, and entered the freshman class of Dickenson College. At the close of the year he entered Lehigh University to take the Electrical Engineering Course.
He was a high official in a large factory in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, with headquarters in New York.
He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Nell Vass, of Danville, Virginia and his father, J. Norris Myers, of Landford, Pa., and his brothers, Dr. Wm. Starr Myers, of Princeton, New Jersey, and J. Norris Myers, Jr., of New York City.
Interment in Danville, Virginia.

- Thomas Miller Myers son of John Norris Myers and Laura Virginia starr...was born on Park Ave., Baltimore, Maryland, April 3, 1884. A Mechanical Engineer, educated at Dickinson College and Lehigh University and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. After leaving college in 1904, was a resident of Bethlehem, Pa., Johnstown, Pa., Fort Wayne, Ind., and New York City.
He married November 29, 1911 Nellie Penrose Vass (b. Jan. 6, 1887) daughter of Henry FitzHugh Vass (b. Apr. 2, 1855 - m. Feb 5, 1879) and Minnehaha France...of Danville, Va. [9]
