  	Obituary -- Wallace Eston Smith; Bechtel Corp. general foreman DELTA -- Wallace Eston Smnith, 70, of Delta, died at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He was the husbnad of Opel R. (Powers) Smith, who died June 6, 1996. The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Delta United Methodist Church, 213 Main St., Delta. Burial will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery in Delta with military honors by York County Veternas Memorial Honor Guard. Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta. Mr. Smith was born July 31, 1927 in Rupert, W. Va. He was the son of the late Charles Eston and Mattie (McClung) Smith. Until retirement, he was a general foreman for Bechtel Corp. at Peach Bottom Atomic Station. Before that he worked for Dixie Construction Co. in Street, Md. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Delta United Methodist Church. Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters, Shirley D. Johnson of Delta and Banneta G. Smith of Windsor; three granddaughters, tw great-granddaughters, and two sisters, Clare Watson of Sykesville, Md. and Virginia Twilley of Pennsville. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Stacy Allen Crawford.
