- Obituary -- Luella Gay Meadows Little
Luella M. Little, 72, of Shively, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at her sister's home in Clearwater Beach, FL.
A perpetual organizer, she was an active member of the Shively Christian Church and dedicated countless hours of volunteer service in the community. She retired from the Jefferson County Public School system after 26 years of faithful service.
She will be missed by her husband, Benny L. Little; daughters, Laura Davis of Elizabethtown, KY, and Lynn Stewart of Nicholasville, KY; sons, Brian of Laurel, DE, and Brent of Louisville; sisters, Lenora Pulver of Clearwater Beach, FL, and Patricia Varnell of Virginia Beach, VA; and seven grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2004.
