Austin G. Hall, 74, of Scott Depot, died Nov. 19, 1988 in Putnam General Hosptial, Teays Valley, after a long illness.
The brother of Conley E. Hall of Sandyville, he was a retired pipefitter. He was a member of the Peoples Baptist Church in Scott Depot. He was a veteran of World War II and was a 23-year resident of Putnam County.
Also surviving: wife, Thelma Hall; daughter, Peggy Burke of Dunbar; brother, Robert of McComas; sisters, Zula Stottler of Newark, Ohio, Alta DeMar of Pittsburgh, Pa.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Service was Tuesday at Chapman Funeral Home, Teays Valley, with the Rev. Fred Connery officiating. Entombment was in Tyler Mountain Gardens.
