John Fitzgerald Rhodes, Sr., 59, of Rainelle passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home.
Born on October 26, 1961 in Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Raymond Rhodes and Sarah Highlander Rhodes.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Rhodes; son, John Rhodes, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Kathryn, ‘Bimbo” and Rhonda.
John loved to ride his motorcycle and worked on junked vehicles.
Survivors are 2 daughters, Jennifer (Houston) Adkins of Quinwood, April Rhodes of WSS; son, Jason Wykle of McRoss; sisters, Linda (Denver) Brunty of Bellburn, Laura Loudermilk of VA., Wilda (Scott) Corder of OH, Jenny (Pete) Chartrand of PA; brothers, Buford Rhodes of Bellburn, James (Margaret) Rhodes of NC, Marty (Velma) Rhodes of VA; grandchildren, Owen, Houston, Carson, Eli, Hunter and Aspen; mother of his children, Tina Osborne; many extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
