Hines, 69, Dies; Services Sunday
HINES (RNS) -- William Ted Hines, 69, of Hines died Thursday at his home after a short illness of an apparant heart attack.
Born Aug. 11, 1903, he was a son of the late William and Minnie Zopp Hines.
He was a lifelong resident of Hines and was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church and was a retired coal operater and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Crane Hines; five daughters, Mrs. Shannon McClung of Lewisburg, Mrs. King Pettry of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Charles Lewis and Mrs. Nick Lewis, both of Charleston, and Mrs. David Green of Gosport, Ind.; two sons, William Theodore Jr. of Thornsville, Ohio, and Richard Gale , at home; four sisters, Mrs. Della Moore of Hines, Mrs, Lena McClung of Snowhill, Mrs. Carrie Riley of St. Albans and Mrs. Olive Young of Charleston; three brothers, Cecil of Hines, Joe of Rupert and Fred of Canvas; 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with Rev. Leroy Crane and Rev. Harold Flint in charge. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville.
