	Obituary -- Harold Laurel Rector Harold L. Rector, 58, of Huntington, L.I., N.Y., a native of Battle Creek, died Sunday [20 Jan 1963] of a stroke. Mr. Rector was born in Battle Creek Sept. 5, 1904, a son of Delois and Olive (Lucas) Rector. He attended Battle Creek Central High School and left here about 38 years ago to live in New York. He was employed as a technician with the Columbia Broadcasting System in New York City. His late brother, Reuben R. Rector, who died in 1950, was an artist-preparator for the Kingman Museum here. Surviving are his widow Mae; a son, John D. Rector, and a daughter, Mrs. William (Judith) Bode, both of Huntington.; a grandson; and a brother Leon O. Rector, formerly of Battle Creek, now of Arcadia, Fla.
