He was director of purchasing for Williams Union Boiler Co., Nitro. a member and Sunday School teacher of Humphreys United Methodist Church, Tornado, a member of Kanawha Valley Emmaus, chairperson of the Chrysalis board of directors, a member of the Gideon Society, received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Marshall University and was currently attending the graduate college at Marshall. Surviving: fiance, Carol Mitchell of Kent State University; daughter Stephanie Crane of Hurricane; stepdaughter Heather Gough of Morgantown; stepson, Chad Gough of Tennessee; parents James and Hilda Crane of Crawley; maternal grandparent, Verna Sheppard of Crawley; sister Brenda Brooks of Crawley.
