- Obituary -- Fred Berkus Masters
RONCEVERTE - Fred B. Masters, 73, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, at a Fairlea hospital following a long illness.
Born March 8, 1915, at Ronceverte, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Erskine Masters.
Mr. Masters was a farmer, a lifelong resident of Ronceverte and a member of the McLean Preysbyterian Church.
Surviors include his wife, Mary Shafer Masters; three daughters, Barbara M. Taylor of Richmond, Va., Xerdie Massey of Ronceverte and Mary Ann Boyles of Fairlea; a son, Freddie Masters of Barboursville; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the McLean Presbyterian Church near Ronceverte with the Revs. Yale Gunn and Gary Baker and Doyle Kester officiating. Burial will be in the McLean Cemetery near Ronceverte.
