- Obituary --- Teresa Lee Williams Brown
Teresa Lee Brown, 74, of Meadow Bridge, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, following a long illness.
Born October 18, 1944, in Nicholas County, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Pauline Vandall Williams.
Teresa worked at the Lamp Post Restaurant; Fast Check Grocery Store; Dairy Queen; the Airport Restaurant; and the Stone Hearth Restaurant. She loved quilting! Teresa was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Howard Williams.
Survivors include her son John Groves and wife Nikita of Meadow Bridge; 3 brothers Les Williams, Kenneth Dale Wiliams (Judy), and Lovell Williams (Virginia), all of Meadow Bridge; 4 grandchildren Celeste, Derek, and Adam Groves, and Mikey Darnell; 4 great-grandchildren Brantley, Cole, Jackson, and Dillon; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Brown Cemetery at Crag with Pastor Roger Thornton, Jr. officiating.
As Teresa requested, there will be no visitation.
