  	Obituary of Noah B. Simms; The Beckley Register-Herald, December 1, 2001 LEWISBURG - Noah B. Simms, 83, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. Born April 6, 1918, at Meadow Bridge, he was the son of the late Bud L. and Roxie Bucklin Simms. Mr. Simms was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Tincher Simms of Lewisburg; daughters Linda Smith and Wanda Quick, both of Lewisburg, Shirley Gabbert and husband, Kenny, Connie Scott and husband, John and JoAnn Hicks and husband Gary, all of Lewisburg; sons Noah Gary Simms and wife, Loretta, and Lester C. Simms and wife Saundra, of Lewisburg; a brother, Clyde Simms of Tennessee; and a sister, Bertha Boyd of Alderson; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral home, Lewisburg.
