  	Obituary -- Shirley Ann Hunter King Shirley Ann King, 81, of Crawley, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, following a long illness. Born January 29, 1939, at Charmco, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Stella Phipps Hunter. Shirley was a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Shirley was a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church, Meadow Bluff. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years Jimmy King; and one sister Shelvie Jean Pitsenbarger. Survivors include one son Jimmy King II of Winfield; 4 daughters Retha Gum and Daniel of Clintonville, Sarah McFerrin and Randy of Williamsburg, Holly King of Rainelle, and Amy Nelson and Ronald “Buddy” of Crawley; two brothers Warren Hunter and Kay of Meadow Bluff and Wyatt Hunter of Alta; two sisters Dale Riffey and David, and Diana Miller, all of Meadow Bluff; 13 grandchildren Jessica Williams (Victor), Kimberly Gum, Joshua McFerrin, Bethany McFerrin, Payton Williams (Bryce George), Brooklyn Crist, Aurora King, Abraham King, EmmaLee Nelson, Sierra King, Canyon King, Sophia Nelson, and Maddox Bowles; 3 great-grandchildren Natalie Williams, Joseph Williams, and Camilla George; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Penny Bivens officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Amwell Cemetery, Meadow Bluff.
