  	Obituary of James Crane Rev. James Crane, age 61 of Culpepper, VA, died Friday, September 15 at Culpepper, VA, of a massive heart attack. Born August 6, 1934 at Renick, he was the son of Rev. William Leslie and the late Ada McMillion Crane. Rev. Crane worked in sales at The Farm Chronicle and was Pastor of the Cedar Run Baptist Church at Culpepper, VA. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Crane; daughter Suzanne Carter, Youngsville, NC; sons Allen Crane of Franklinton, NC and Bruce Crane of Youngsville, NC; stepchildren Reba, Tim and Tony; 7 grandchildren. Service will be Tuesday at 9AM at Founds & Son Funeral Home, Culpepper, VA. Burial will be in Grove Christian Cemetery, Martinsville, VA. Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg submitted information.

  	Rev William Leslie Crane on the death of his son James, "James was young when he died. He had had some heart problems before, and I think he had an angioplasty. He was a bit overweight, but I guess he felt all right. "He went to a carnival or a state fair with his wife Phyllis when he began to complain about not feeling well. He went to sit down and fell. He died right there. The paramedics were there quickly and they tried mightily to save James, but it was too late. "It was sad since I lost his mother, Ada, just six moths earlier. 1995 was not the best year."
