Marjorie was the daughter of the late James Wran Withrow and Beulah Carr Smith Withrow.
She was a graduate of Bluefield, W. Va. State College in 1992, and the first librarian at the Rupert, W. Va. Public Library, serving for seventeen years.
She was a member of Big Clear Creek Baptist Church in Rupert.
