- Obituary of Ordie Eldon Hines
RUPERT -- Ordie Eldon Hines, 76, died on Sunday, Aug. 9, in a Low Moor, Va. care center, following a long illness.
Born Jully 10, 1916, in Bingham, he was the son of the latee Luster and Pansy McClung Hines.
Mr. Hines was a retired bulldozer operator for Georgia Pacific and a member of the First Baptist Church, Quinwood.
He was prededed in death by a son, Robert "Bobby" Hines, a sister, Arla Mae Patterson, and a brother, Robert Edwin Hines.
Suvivors include his wife, Mary Manning Hines; a daughter, Ruby Gail Scott of Good View, Va.; two sisters, Kathleen Patterson of Fairlea and Margaret Hines of Falls Chuch, Va., and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
