  	Obituary of Elsie Murphy Crane CRAWLEY - Elsie Murphy Crane, 78, of Crawley died Dec. 26, 2002 in Montgomery General Elderly Care, Montgomery, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Herndon Murphy, Jr. of Bluewell, Donald Ray Murphy of Indiana; and her sister, Gladys Murphy Barlow of Bluewell. She was a member of Big Clear Creek Baptist Church, Rupert, where she taught Sunday school classes for over 20 years, and was an active member of the American Baptist Women's Missionary Society. She also belonged to the Crawley Homemakers Club. Survivors include her husband, Charles Harold Crane; her two daughters, Janet Tharp of Glasgow, Patricia Dengel of Woodbridge, VA; her two grandchildren Melissa Buckley of Glasgow, Patrick Jorgensen of Woodbridge, VA; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Buckley; three sisters, Edith Stanley of Princeton, Joyce Bowers of Bluewell, Maxine Deel of Bel-camp, MD; and a host of nieces and nephews. Service will be noon Monday, Dec. 30, at Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, with the Rev. John Massey officiating. Entombment will be in Kanawha Valley Mem-orial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial cont-ributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Elsie Crane.
