- Obituary -- Josephine Evelyn Bennett Hedrick
Josephine Evelyn Bennett Hedrick, 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Grassy Meadows and Charleston, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at her home following a long illness.
Born January 21, 1932, at Clearco, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Pina Puckett Bennett.
Josephine was a graduate of Concord College, where she majored in education. She then got her Master’s Degree from WVU in counseling. She spent most of her years in the Kanawha County School system. She was a member of the Rainelle Congregation of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
Those left to cherish Josephine’s memory are her beloved husband Arthur Hedrick; 4 sons Stephen (Lydie) of Supply, North Carolina, Kurt (Vivian) of Richmond, Virginia, Todd (Lisa) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kyle (Mindee) of Midlothian, Virginia; and 4 grandchildren Ryan, Erin, Kyle, and Christopher.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at Smathers Funeral.
Burial will be in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
