- Obituary of Gary Wayne Moore
BEARDS FORK - Gary Wayne Moore, 25, a loving, hard-working husband and father, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at the Samples Mines near Eskdale following a truck accident.
He was born Feb. 17, 1976, in Beckley. Mr. Moore was a truck driver for K. T. Trucking of Pratt, a member of Living Waters Church and preached his first sermon at Evergreen Baptist Church, Ansted on the second Sunday in October.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends, who wee so dear to his heart.
Survivors include his wife, Kara. A. Seaman Moore; a daughter, Kelsie Moore at home; his father and stepmother, Pastor Billy Moore and Norma Moore of Ansted; his mother and stepfather, Angie Kay Banton Reed and James Reed of Beards Fork; his grandmother, Lackie Banton of Beards Fork; and brothers and sisters, Susan of Beards Fork, Beth and Toni of Fayetteville, Alan of Ansted, Scott and Vincent of Dixie, Jeremy of Ansted and Benji of Crossville, Tenn.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Pastor Terrance Hamm officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Pallbearers will be Chad Evans, James Berry, John McNeely, Terry Moore, Doug Moore and Larry Trowbridge. Arrangements by Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.
