- Obituary - Elizabeth Ann Heaster Deitz
Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Mrs. Bettie Heaster Deitz, 92, Dawson, who died at her home at 4 p.m. Wednesday after a short illness.
She was a member of the Meadow Grove Baptist Church at Dawson for 54 years.
Born at Crawley, May 7, 1869, she was a daughter of the late Johnson and Frances Callison Heaster.
Her husband, George L. Deitz, died in 1924.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Walkup of Lookout; four sons, Dudley, at home, Wallace of Barberton, Ohio, Theodore of Covington, Va., and George of Huntington; six daughters, Mrs. Georgia Crotty of Oak Hill, Mrs. Arkie Teubner and Mrs. Maxie Egnor, both of Huntington, Mrs. Nina Manin of South Charleston, Mrs. Ollie Belville of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Lovie Puckett of Dawson.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
