- Obituary -- Margaria Nell Crane Waselchalk
Final rites for Mrs. Margie Nell Waselchalk, 73, of Rupert, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Don Smathers Funeral Home Chapel Rainelle, with the Rev. J. H. Quesenberry in charge. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
She died Friday in a Clifton Forge, Va., hospital after a short illness.
She was born Oct. 30, 1898 at Rupert, a daughter of the late William and Mary Young Crane, and was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Andrew Waselchalk; three daughters, Miss Cynthia Johnson at home, Mrs. Eldine Pugh and Mrs. Marie Brown, both of Rainelle; two sons, Brooks C. Johnson, Toledo, Ohio, and Haskle, Russelville; two sisters, Mrs. Carma Beitz, Rupert, and Mrs. Prudence Piercy, Clintonville; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
