- Obituary -- Dennis Doyle Dean
Dennis D. Dean of Charmco, passed away at his home on Monday, May 4, 2020.
Born on November 23, 1940 in Braxton Co., WV, he was the son of the late Albert E. and Vina J. Houghton Dean.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Hager, Charlotte Barbe, Jack Dean and Homer Dean.
Dennis was a member of the Gordon Freewill Baptist Church of Charmco. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling in his younger days. He most recently worked as a custodian.
Survivors are his wife, Peggy Sue Dean of Charmco; 2 daughters, Tammy (Richard) Crane of Rupert, Debra (Jamie) Frame of Canvas; 4 grandchildren, Dennis Crane, Kayla Cash, Michael Crane and Brian Dean; 6 great grandchildren, Layla Denise Parker, Paislee Dean, Jackson Stanley, Sutter Crane, Peyton Frame and Emma Frame; sister, Carolyn (Richard) Hinkle of Clintonville; brothers, Joe (Diane) Dean of FL, Delbert (Connie) Dean of FL; several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to his sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Christy and Holly, Sandra Roach and his sister Carolyn Hinkle for being there and his granddaughter, Kayla Cash for caring for him during his last illness.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Gordon Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
