  	Obituary -- Lester Albert Zopp BYRON, Calif. -- Lester Albert Zopp, 76, formerly of Rupert, died Monday, June 23, 1997, at his home. Born Sept. 24, 1920, he was the son of the late Lloyd Elmer and Etta Elizabeth Moses Zopp. Mr. Zopp had been a resident of California since 1960, and retired in 1986 from FMC Corporation. He was in the military service during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude May Evans Zopp in 1978. Survivors include two sons, Albert Mitchell and William Lester Zopp and a daughter, Sandra Fay Franco, all of Byron, Calif.; grandchildren, Bryan Michael, Cristy Lynn and Michael Shannon Zopp, Jerry Lannon and Kelly Lynn Runck and Jeremy Christopher Hines, all of California; two brothers, Murrell Hayward and Lorance Colbert Zopp of Rupert; sisters, Edith E. Kiszier of Roseburg, Oreg., Shirley E. Price of Michigan, and Sadie L. McClung and Laura L. Kiser of Rupert; a stepson, Oakey O. Price of Jacksonville Ariz.; four stepdaughters, Catherine M. Ridgeway of Ronceverte, Elizabeth E. Crook of Richmond, Calif., Charlotte L. Barnett of Pioneer, Calif., and FrancesC. Graves, of Elko, Nev.; and 29 stepgrandchildren. Private military gravesite services were held Wednesday, June 25, in the Lima Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Freemont, Calif., with family member and minister William D. Graves.
