- Obituary of Daniel Russell Brown
Danny Brown, 68, of Bellwood, went to his eternal home, Friday, January 26, 2024 surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness.
Born June 28, 1955, at Richwood, he was the son of the late William Russell and Etha (Osborne) Brown.
Danny was a classmate of the class of 1973, Greenbrier West High School. He worked for Georgia Pacific and for Radford and Radford. Danny was a classic car enthusiast. The main interest and concern for Danny was his relationship with the Lord. He was a devoted church member at Elton Community Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Shirley Jones.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 46 years, “Cyndi” (Davis) Brown; two sons Sheldon Brown (Hannah) of Lewisburg and Eric Brown (Hannah) of Rainelle; two daughters Megan Mullins (Timothy) of Bellwood and Chelsea Sigler (Jax) of Bellwood; one brother Roger Brown of Rainelle; one sister Sharon McClung (Randy) of Rainelle; nine grandchildren Maggie, Abbi, Jaxon, Nova, Aiden, River, and Danny Brown, Grayson Mullins, and Koda Sigler; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, in the Brown Cemetery on Brown School Road, Crag, with Pastor Matt Taylor, Bennie Kenney, and Timothy Mullins officiating.
