  • Notes
    • Memories of Steve Pittman, Daisy's great-grandson...
Everyone who knew my great-grandmother Daisy tells me that she was
always a kind, sweet, and nice lady who never met a stranger; a
contrast to my great-grandfather Lue, who was also very kind, but very
      much quiet and reserved.
Daisy once took a bus trip from Ripley, WV across country, in the
1950s, to Riverside, CA to visit my grandparents who were stationed in
the Air Force at March Field. Daisy thoroughly enjoyed the trip,
talking with people on the bus and making new friends along the way.
She had a very outgoing personality, and her Crane family and heritage
      was very important to her.
Grandpa (Hortis Dale Hanna) can tell you how much Daisy loved and
enjoyed the family and Crane Reunions from the 1950s and 1960s; she
attend all those reunions with her brothers and sisters who were
      living at that time.
