Kenneth Lee McClung, 66, a resident of Heartland Nursing Home of Rainelle, passed away Monday Dec.30, 2013 from a long illness.
He was born Dec.7, 1947 in Rupert, WV.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Hazel D. (DeeDee) McClung, his son, Ray M. Stinson, his parents Doyle and Hazel McClung.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Norma J. McClung of Rainelle; four more daughters, Maria Gaynor and husband Larry of Charleston, Deborah Cruse of Valley Bend, WV, Randa McClung of Aiken, SC, Lorria Gabbert and husband Larry of McRoss; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tommy McClung and wife Carolyn of Richmond, VA, Buck McClung and wife Dessie of Florida, Ronnie McClung and wife Ellen of Rupert, a loving sister-in-law that was a caregiver to him, Wanda Buttrum of Rupert.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a honorable man who was respected and loved by many. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a coal miner, also a member of the Victory Temple Church where the family will receive friends on Saturday Jan. 4, 2014 at 11:00 am on Tommie Hall Rd., Rupert, WV.
Officiating the memorial service will be brothers in the Lord: Felix Baker and Gary Copper.
