Robert Lee Shipe, 82, passed away peacefully Monday, October 27, 2008.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Cunningham); dear father of Faith Brockett, Celeste Scullin (David), Velda Leatutufu, Ursula Craig (Jeff), Eugenia Sagapolu (Aifua) and Ralph Shipe; loving grandfather of William Everett (Denise), Jason Everett, Christopher Everett (Jenny), Jessica Everett, Brenna Novack (Elijah); Natalie Person (Nathan), Mykayla Leatutufu, Lesevi Sagapolu, Allison Craig, Jeffrey Scott Craig, Adam Brockett and Alexis Shipe; great-grandfather of eight.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Private family services were held in Independence, Missouri.
Robert married Dorothy Earneshine CUNNINGHAM, daughter of William Ralph CUNNINGHAM and Willard R. "Willa" KING.
